Dr. George Sawa taught the music of the Middle East for many years at the University of Toronto and York University. He is the author of numerous books and over 50 articles on classical Arabic music.

 

Suzanne Meyers Sawa is Librarian Emerita at the U of T Music Library and a lifelong performer and researcher in Arabic music, with a focus on women in music from medieval to modern times.
